On the 1911 census Ada's husband Edward Plamer is shown as a Restaurant Proprietor and on the 1939 register as a caterer, he was born in Yarmouth, Norfolk in 14 February 1877. They had two children - Gladys Palmer (born 1906) and Mabel G M Palmer (born 1911), both born in Gorleston, Norfolk. Edward Palmer died in the Yarmouth district in 1947 aged 68 and was buried at Great Yarmouth Cemetary on 14th June 1947.
