On a tombstone:
"Here lieth interred the Body of John Petman late of this parish, Gent., who died January 28 1706 aged 66 years. Also Thomasin his wife who died June ye 21 1712 Aged 74 years. They had issue 3 sons and 2 daus, viz, John Robert Thomas Mary and Thomasin. Thomasin died March 22 1682 aged 4 years. Thomasin married Mr Thomas Lane of this city and died May 24 1705 aged 22 years. Marry ye surviving daughr Married to Dr Everard of Faversham who caused this tomb to be erected."
