Benjamin married Ann Wollege, daughter of Thomas Wollege and Jane Parker, on 23 July 1792 in St Mary's Church, Westerfield, Suffolk. (Ann Wollege was born in 1772 in Whitton Cum Thurleston, Suffolk, christened on 24 May 1772 in Whitton Cum Thurleston, Suffolk, died on 31 January 1853 in Winston, Suffolk and was buried on 2 February 1853 in Winston, Suffolk.) The cause of her death was Age & debility, Erysiphalas 3 days certified.
