Bargain and Sale by Thomas Neave of Barking tanner, William Neave citizen and butcher of London and Jeremy Neave of London tallow-chandler the surviving sons of Edmond Neave late of Needham Market tanner to Sir Francis Theobald of Barking Knt
in consideration of 240, of a messuage called Golfreyes with lands in the occupation of Philip Neave, Edmond having by will of 14 Feb. 1653/4. appointed all his copyhold lands in Barking then in his occupation or that of Edmond Tillett to be sold by John and Thomas his brothers for the benefit of his 4 youngest sons i.e. Thomas, William, Jeremy and John now deceased. (2 seals blind, 1 missing from tag). Attached John Neave's receipt for 100, 2 Feb. 1669/70.
