Thomas Carre

  General Notes:

Thomas married twice and both of his wives were called Ann(e) and like Thomas his second wife was a widower. Thomas had 9 children with his second wife - Thomas (1625), Allet (1627-1627), John (1629), Martha (1631), Joseph (1633), William (1635), Helen (1637), Thomasine (1638), Allet (1640-1640). On some of the baptism records it says Thomas was a "clerk".

Thomas Carre was ordained as a priest in 1614 and was licensed by Samuel, bishop of Norwich to be a preacher in 1619.

• Marriage: to Ann Unknown.

• Marriage: to Anne Scutt, 14 August 1624, Mickfield, Suffolk.

• Residence: Rector, 1662-1674, Mickfield, Suffolk.

Thomas married Ann. (Ann died in 1624 in Mickfield, Suffolk and was buried on 18 January 1624 in Mickfield, Suffolk.)
