Harriet's husband Thomas Joseph Hobbs died on 17 August 1869 at Malvern Cottage, Wood Green. He also lived at 22 Ironmonger Street and was a watch barrel-maker. His probate of under £800 went to Harriet Hobbs his wife.

On the 1901 census Harriett is living with her niece Sarah Harold. she is the daughter of Sarah Ann Harold (Hurren).

Harriet's probate of £1017 3s 11d went to her niece Ann Maria Harold and Hildred Braimbridge a public company's secretary.
