Here alfo lieth the Body of John Son of Richard and Elizabeth Smith, Who departed this life the 3rd Day of November 1759, Aged 70 Years.

Executor of his mother-in-law's will of 15 Dec 1701:
Item:" I give unto my suns in Law Richard Smith and John Hayward Eight poundes and five shillings apeese hoome I doo apwainte Jointe Executors of this my last will and Testamente in witnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand and sele the day and yere above menchened."

Richard married Elizabeth Collins, daughter of William Collins and Sarah Eyres, on 29 December 1685 in Worth Matravers, Dorset. (Elizabeth Collins was born about 1655 in Dorest, died in 1704 in Worth Matravers, Dorset and was buried on 9 April 1704 in Worth Matravers, Dorset.)
