DORSET ARCHDEACONRY COURT WILL AD/DT/W/1718/20 JAMES HARDEN, Date of Probate: 9th April 1718
April 27th 1717 This the Last will and Testament of me James Harden. First I will that my debts and funerall charges shall be paid and discharged.
Item: I Geive to my son James Harden my Best horse or Cow.
Item: I Geive to my wife Marey Harden my tennement Beeing Lease hold at Hiwood for her Naterrall Life and affter her decease to my Before Mentioned Sun James Harden.
I Geive to my Grandson James Harden one Pound to Be Paid him in one year affter my deacease.
I Geive to my other five Grand Childeren five shillings to Each of them to Be Paid In one year affter my deacease.
All the Rest of my Goods and ChattelIs whatsoever I do Geive and Bequeath to my wiffe and my two daughters, Joynt and Sole Executors to be Equalley Parted Between them. But for what Goods shall fall to my wife's Part which was not her own Before I maried her shall Return to my Sun and two daughters, if they or any of them shall be Living.
I desire that my Boddey maye be Buried at the Charge of my Executors and I do hereby Revoke all other wills. In wilthess whereof I the said James Harden have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daye and year above written.
James Harden Signed seald and delivered In the Presence of us William Lerrouse the mark of Benjamin Standley [One of The executors was Agnes, wife of William Chinchen]
