WILLIAM CHINCHEN
Date of Probate: 15th March 1764
This is the last Will and Testament of me William Chinchen of Langton Matravers in the Isle of Purbeck and County of Dorset, stone merchant, made and published this seventeenth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty four, for the Disposal of such Worldly Goods as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me as follows:

that is to say. First I Give and bequeath unto my son Titus Chinchen All that my leasehold messuage or Dwelling House with the Garden and Appurtenances thereto belonging, Situate and being in Langton Matravers aforesaid and now in my own possession,To hold unto my said son Titus Chinchen, his Executors, Administrators and Assigns During the Remainder of my Term therein.

Also I Give unto my Daughter Mary Lander the wife of Thomas Lander of Langton Matravers aforesaid, Stone Merchant, the sum of Fifty pounds.

Also I Give unto my Son Robert Chinchen the sum of Fifty pounds. And I also Give him all such Monies as he now Owes me on a Ballance of Account or otherwise.

Also I give unto my son James Chinchen the Sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give unto my son William Chinchen the sum of Sixty Pounds.

Also I give to my servant Mary Brown the sum of Ten Pounds which said several pecuniary Legacys I do hereby direct to be paid to the severall Legatees thereof by my Executor hereinafter named at the End of One year and one day after my Decease and not before.

And all the rest and residue of my moneys, Goods, Chattels and personal Estates I Give and Bequeath unto my said son Titus Chinchen, and do make and Appoint him sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me made and Declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the day and year above written.
