Edward Lander

   Cause of his death was Plague or Smallpox.

  General Notes:

The only known child born to Edward and his wife was William, who was baptised on Thursday 6 Oct 1664 at Corfe Castle. Because of the gaps in parish records no other children are recorded but is more than likely that several offspring were born to his couple.

Edward Lander died at an early age and was buried in Worth Matravers in Jul 1674 . As there were 3 burials in the week [a large amount for a small parish] that Edward was buried it is probable that he died of an epidemic which was possibly smallpox or the plague.

Another name for Edward was Lavender.

Edward married Joan Unknown. (Joan Unknown was born about 1650 in Dorest, died in 1719 in Worth Matravers, Dorset and was buried on 25 April 1719 in Worth Matravers, Dorset.)
