(John Mattocks was born in 1822 in Heath Town, Wednesfield, Stafford, christened on 18 March 1822 in St Peter's Church, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, died in 1894 in Wolverhampton, Stafford and was buried on 31 August 1894 in Merridale Cemetery, Wolverhampton.)
