Rev Parker Gurdon

  General Notes:

Parker graduated from Queens College Cambridge on 13 June 1728 with a BA 1731-2, MA.

Parker Gurdon was a private chaplin to the Earl of Sunderland from the 12th Sptember 1746 and was the rector of Burgh in Norfolk in 1750 and Cramworth also in Norfolk from 1753 until his death in 1762.

Parker married Phillipa Clarke, daughter of Rev. George Clarke and Elizabeth Brand. (Phillipa Clarke was born on 30 April 1714 in Raydon, Suffolk, christened on 14 May 1714 in Raydon, Suffolk, died on 11 April 1779 in Stoke By Nayland, Suffolk and was buried on 15 April 1779 in Stoke By Nayland, Suffolk.)
