(Charles Mattocks was born on 10 January 1874 in New Street, Wednesfield, Willenhall, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, christened on 1 February 1874 in Heath Town Holy Trinity Church, Staffordshire, died on 7 September 1927 in 27 Bryant Street, Chatham, Kent and was buried on 13 September 1927 in Maidstone Road & Palmerston Road Cemetery, Chatham, Kent.) The cause of his death was Tuberculosis.
