Emily Lockwood

  General Notes:

Emily's husband Edgar was previously married to Ann Mudd (married on 9th October 1868 at Earl Stonham). Ann died in 1879 at the age of 36 and was buried in Earl Stonham on 7th November 1879. They had 3 children, all born in Earl Stonham - Rose Lockwood 30 Jan 1870, Frederick Lockwood 3 December 1871 and George Lockwood 31 Aug 1874. George was buried in Earl Stonham on 25 Febuary 1875 aged 9 months.

There is the possibilty that Emily and Edgar were related to each other, as they were both born in Earl Stonham and thus Emily did not have to change her surname when she married. Edgar was born a year before Emily in 1844 to William and Ann Lockwood.

Emily had one child out of wedlock - Sarah Ann Kate Lockwood was born in 1867.
