Mary had a daughter Mary Gladys Durrant who was born in Chatham on 29th December 1901 and baptised at St Johns Church, Chatham on 12th Febraury 1902.

George and Mary Birchmore had 1 child - George Edwin Birchmore who was born on 28 September 1906 in Lucknow, India and was baptised on 17 October 1906 at Lucknow All Saints Church, India. George Edwin Birchmore then joined the merchant navy. After leaving the navy he became a Thames Waterman on 29 August 1922 at Rotherhite, London. He married Alice S Bateman (she was born on 21 June 1903) in 1934 and she died in 1972 in Wandsworth, Surrey and George died in Sutton, Surry in 1984.
