bullet  General Notes:

On the 1881 census a William George Hamlin is listed as "son". Although his age is unclear according to the LMA records he was baptised on 30 January 1881 in Saint Mary Magdalen Church in Bermondsey to a William and Sarah Hamlin.

Alfred's wife Saran Ann Chub was born in Chieveley, Berkshire in 1855 to Josh and Ann Chub. On the 1891 census despite being married she is still listed as a Chubb and not a Hamlin although her two daughters Edith A (born Chieveley 1884) and Sarah E (born Chieveley, 1886) and both shown as Hamlin's.

Sarah Ann Hamlin died in Willesden in 1922.
