Sir Thomas Boleyn's most famous daughter was Anne Boleyn who went on to became Queen of England when she became Henry VIII's second wife. She acceded to the throne on 1 September 1532 and was put to death on 19 May 1536 at the Tower of London, she is buried there at the Royal Chappel.

A son of Sir Thomas Boleyn was Sir George Boleyn who married Jane Parker (Lady Rochford) who is also in this tree. Sir George, Lady Rochford and Anne Boleyn (Queen of England) were all put to death by King Henry VIII.

Sir Thomas Boleyn was the Earl of Wiltshire and was made a knight of the bath on 23 June 1509 and was knighted on 23 April 1523 and ennobled as Vicount Richmond on 16th June 1525.

The inscription on his tomb reads:

“Here lieth Sir Thomas Bullen, Knight of the Order of the Garter, Erle of Wilscher and Erle or Ormunde, which decessed the 12th dai of Marche in the iere of our Lorde 1538
