Phillip left £10 in his will to a Mrs Walker who was the wife of Thomas Walker who was left £2 by Phillips father, John Gurdon.
Phillip was admitted to Colchester Grammar School 5 October 1643, aged 13, of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, B.A. 1653, of Queen's College, M..A. incorporated at Oxford 14 July 1657 ; aged about 38, 19 October 1669; executor to his father's will 4 October 1679, mentioned in his mother's will 23 August 1680. He was also an MP for Sudbury in Suffolk from 1689 - 1690.
