bullet  General Notes:

Brampton was educated in schools at Boxford and Bury St Edmunds both in Suffolk. He gained a BA (1728/29) and MA (1732) after starting at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge on 8 July 1725.

He was ordained a deacon of Norwich, Norfolk on 31 May 1730 and a Priest on 4 June 1732. He was the vicar of Assington Church, Suffolk from 1732 to his death in 1780 and was a reverent of Milden, Suffolk from 1751 to 1780.
