Robert's wife Louisa was living in Bawdsey at the time of their marriage in 1791 as she was born there in 1772 to John and Mary Rivres, she was baptised there on 30 July 1772, Nathaniel Fuller and Ann Mann were the witness to the wedding. She died in 1831 and was buried at Rushmere St Andrew, Suffolk on 22 July 1831, she was living in Ipswich St Margaret's at the time.
