John's wife Marianne Scarlett was born in Nacton in 1814 to parents James Scarlett and Ann Blyth. She had a daughter Louisa Knights Scrarlett who was baptised on 10 February 1835 in Nacton. As she was born out of wedlock no father is listed but it is more than likely that John Knights was her dad as he married Marianne two years later.
