John Warner's first wife Mary Ann Lucas was born in Ipswich in 1826 at was baptised at St Helen's Church in Ipswich on 18 October 1826 to parents Obadiah and Hannah Lucas.
John and Mary Ann Warner had 2 children both of whom were born in Westminster, London:
Charlotte Anne Warner baptised at St Anne's Church, Westminster on 26 June 1849.
John Francis Warner baptised at St James Church, Piccadilly on 9 October 1853.
On the 1851 census Charlotte Warner was living with her Grandmother Barbara Beart (Graniger) and was with her Grandad Thomas Warner on the 1861 census along with her brother John Warner and their Aunt and Uncle Henry and Sarah Archer (Knights). Charlotte died in Nacton, Suffolk on 14 August 1863 aged 14 and was buried there on 28 August 1863.
John Warner's second wife was born in 1807 in Edinburgh, Scotland and died there in 1892 aged 85.
From the Ipswich Journal dated Tuesday 27 January 1885:
"WARNER - 18th, at 46 Albany street, Edinburgh, aged 59 years, John second son of Thomas and Sarah Warner of Nacton, great respected".
