1349 SAC pg 114-The Christchurch registers record of Henry De Bereham's
appointment as "Custos" or Churchwarden of the church at Cranebroke. 1352 Nicholls collection Top et Gen IV pg 154-SAC pg 115- Henry DeBereham purchased from Queen Phillippa the custody of lands of William DeLonsford in Sussex with the wardship and marriage of his son and heir forwhich he paid a fine of 100lbs.
